Look at yourself
Look at the clothes you are wearing. They should be extremely comfortable. Avoid wearing jeans or clothes which are comparatively thick as they hinder your exercise. Also avoid wearing jewellery and other accessories. Wear clothes that stretch, twist and turn along with you.
Eat light before practicing
Yoga is generally practiced on an empty stomach or at least 3 hours after your meal. If you are really hungry just before your practice then eat light such as fruits or oats.
Warm-up and then start
Before you start with yoga any kind of exercise, be it muscle training, cardio or yoga, warm-up must be performed at any cost. SukshmaVyayam or gentle warm-ups must be performed to loosen up the body. Try massaging your head, nose and cheeks, rotate your neck, also you can pump your shoulders to relieve any stiffness and shrug off lethargy.
